Its areas of operations cover smart & scratch card
production, computer-aided printing and enveloping services,
offset printing and envelope production, archive management
services, fulfillment, software development and consultancy.
HOBÝM, which started producing prepaid phone cards
intended for the GSM sector at its facility in early
2003, have consistently renewed its machinery according
to the state-of-the art technologies, thus enhancing
its capacity up to 45 million cards per month and diversifying
its product portfolio. At the facility where any type
of scratch cards can be produced, the personalization
of cards made of cardboard or PVC with a widely varied
range in thickness can be accomplished along with artworks
and designs that can appeal to highly diversified choices.
HOBIM offers a range of smart cards for GSM and Banking
industry– optimized for specific market requirements,
and exploiting to the full the capabilities of today's
leading card technologies. Especially for mobile telecommunications,
cards are designed for interoperability, they give
operators the most competitive platform for deploying
enhanced mobile services. Using the products of leading
chip vendors world wide, HOBIM’s products are in service
of GSM operators within a portfolio of 16K – 256K SIM
Cards with various types of applications which would
enhance Operator’s customer base and rapidly extend
their reach of new markets.
As another major services of Hobim, the printing
and enveloping facility, carrying out computer-aided
printing and enveloping operations, was established
in 1997 to process large volumes of data. Thanks
to steady efforts in investments, it has become No.
1 facility in terms of machinery and installed production
capacity in the Middle East and on the Balkan Peninsula.
Its customer portfolio includes many corporate customers
in sectors from telecommunications, Internet, and
media to finance, insurance and banking.
The Archive Management Operation was set up in the
year 2000, to manage large volumes of documents of
companies which have intensive transactions. Hobim
processes and stores all the documents on different
means of physical and electronic media and make available
for their internal/external use of its customers. Included
in our comprehensive services are data creation, conversion
into hard copies, and transmission to electronic media
and to the customer’s IT systems, physical storage
of hard copies, retrieval of data for use on electronic
media, and processes of tracking and reporting inventory
movements.
