HOBİM,
which started producing prepaid phone cards intended
for the GSM sector at its facility with a monthly capacity
of 4,000,000 cards in early 2003, have consistently
renewed its machinery according to the state-of-the
art technologies, thus enhancing its product capacity
and diversity.
At the facility where any type of scratch cards can be produced,
personalization of cards made of cardboard or PVC with a widely varied
range in thickness can be accomplished through such machinery and
in such environment that offer a high level of security and then
personalization data are covered with a hotstamp or labeling procedure.
Finished cards are first individually packaged using a security sealing
procedure, then any desired number of individual packages are combined
into larger packages using adhesive tapes.
Subsequently, any desired number of these packages are placed in
a box on which a label is affixed showing the starting and ending
numbers of the cards contained in the box and then a security tape
is attached on the box, making it ready for shipment. Any stage of
this procedure is carried out sequentially according to serial numbers,
and labels showing the products contained inside and their serial
numbers are placed on packages, boxes and larger parcels where required.
All of the production stages are checked by the in-house card production
software.

Data
Security
Card production processes are carried out in an extremely secure
environment, both physically and as the IT infrastructure.
As part of physical security, the operation center’s two gates,
one for personnel and the other for materials, are checked by iris
controllers and a two-door interlock system, respectively. Video
recording is made and stored of the entire operation center on a
24 hours a day 7 days a week basis. Where required by the customers,
such recordings may be made available to them.
All of the production stages are checked by the in-house card production
software.
Our operations were inspected according to ISO 17799 and deemed appropriate,
with a certificate of compliance, by International Risk Management
Organizations, providing many GSM-sector companies with international
consulting and inspection services in data security. |
Quality
Control
All of the operational stages are subjected to an extremely precise
quality control by staff trained in the area of cards, and shipment
release is given only when is there a full approval. Records and
reports are made of the quality control processes applied at any
operational stages. Where required by the customers, such records
may be made available to them. |
